Hey everyone, my name is Qiujing Hu. Please calls me Elva, because I like it better. I just turned 20 last
September and I’m an international student from China. However, some ppl think that I look like Japanese
though. Just to be clear on that, I ‘m not~~ I’ve been in America around 5 years and 2+ years at SMC. Since
my major is Bio-Chem, there is still a long long journey for me to go … and sadly, some of my friends don’t
believe that is my major because they don’t think I look really smart,, lol.. just kidding. Well, this is the
second semester for me to be the president of Asian Student Association. Really honored ~ I’m outgoing and
I like to meet new friends. I’m accessible and nice (at least I think so, LOL). So, hopefully, I can do a good
job and provide a great club for u guys. I won’t let u guys down and I believe that at the end we’ll all have
fun, learn a lot and become friends and families~

I have joined SMC for 1 year. When I just came here, I feel lost. After I joined ASA club, I got lots of help.
During the semester I study with club members who already finished the subject. They also help me to
